Funny Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart commercial released

Tomorrow we can get started with a new PS5 exclusive, because the iconic duo Ratchet & Clank is back. In Rift Apart there will be many portals that will take you to other worlds. It seems this is now happening in the real world too, as our overseas neighbors have made a curious find.

One of these portals has suddenly appeared at a secret location in the United Kingdom and science is closely watching this special phenomenon. Things are a little less serious than you think in this fun commercial because it soon becomes apparent that the scientists are concocting some remarkable experiments. The result is impressive and you can watch the commercial in the video below.

It has beautiful cover art on the inside of the box

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is almost among us and it is undoubtedly one of the biggest games to hit the PlayStation 5 this year. As with previous exclusives, Sony puts the colorful platformer in the spotlight by adding extra cover art to the inside of the box.

We’ve seen this before with games like Bloodborne and Marvel’s Spider-Man and this gives you the opportunity to give the case a different look while it’s in the closet. We’ve already seen some beautiful pieces of art, but the one from Rift Apart is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful we’ve seen. Unfortunately, it is not yet certain whether the cover art is also included in the European version of the game, so we have to wait and see.

Also, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 5 on June 11th.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is available for pre-load

This Friday is the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the next exclusive game for the PlayStation 5. To get started with the game that day, a pre-load is available for those with a pre-order and it has now gone live.

So you can download the game now, so you don’t have to wait Friday. The day one patch has already been rolled out, so if no other updates follow, you’re good to go. The game is not large, by the way, because the total installation comes down to 34.33GB.

With this release in prospect, Sony published a nice commercial last weekend that takes you on a journey through time, check it out here in case you missed it.

Sony likely to release PS5 bundle

With the impending release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a special bundle wouldn’t be a bad idea. Sony probably thought so too, because such a bundle has appeared at French retailers. This bundle combines the PlayStation 5 with disc drive, a controller and the game into one package.

The bundle will be available from June 11, according to StationofPlay , the day Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart comes out. Sony has not officially announced anything yet, but considering there is already an image of it online it sounds like a plausible story.

It is also striking that there will be a bundle, if it really exists, since there are still shortages. The question in that sense is therefore how many bundles are ultimately available to purchase.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart launches with a 60 fps ray tracing mode

After all, the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart launches with a 60 fps ray-tracing mode. Developer Insomniac Games announced this on Twitter. The mode is similar to that from Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, in which you can also lower the resolution to still reach 60 fps with ray tracing. There is also a performance mode that provides stable 60 fps, but without ray tracing.

The above is not standard in the game. You will need to download a patch to use it. Of course, the update will be available from the moment the game comes out. Of course, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 on June 11. If you’re not quite there yet, this Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart story trailer briefly summarizes the game for you.
