The social network has deployed an option. Which allows users to hide the number of likes and views on their posts.
The race for “Likes” is (almost) buried. After all, several months of testing, Facebook announced a few weeks ago the deployment. Also, for all users of an option allowing them to hide “Likes” on Instagram and Facebook.
The function is being deployed by French Instagram users and it offers two possibilities. Also, it is indeed possible to hide the likes and the number of views of your videos individually. Hide the number of likes and views in your every single posts
To hide the number of Likes and the number of views on all of your publications. ALso, you must go to the Settings of the application. To do this, go to your profile, deploy the “hamburger” menu and enter Settings.
Then go to the Confidentiality menu, then to the section devoted to your Publications. As well as, you can then activate the option to Hide the number of likes. And views on all the content published on your Instagram account.
If you change your mind, you can come back to this same menu to reactivate them.
Hide the number of likes and views on certain posts only
Instagram also offers a second option just to hide the number of likes and views on certain posts. Go to your profile and display the post for which you want to hide the number of Likes.
Press the options button represented by three small dots at the top right of the post. And choose to Hide the number of likes, or Hide the number of likes and views. If it is of a video.
This change is not apply permanently. You can, if you change your mind, repeat the operation to Redisplay the number of likes on the post.
