Rockstar Games Has Released a Crazy New Video

Rockstar Games

Fans debate about what Rockstar Games might be talking about in this strange new video after the company posts it online.

Rockstar Games has released an unusual new video seemingly out of nowhere. The Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption series, which have been enormous successes, is most recognised for having been created by Rockstar Games. For instance, Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold 45 million copies, whereas Grand Theft Auto 5 has sold over 170 million copies since its initial release in 2013.

The upcoming major GTA game was revealed early in the year, making 2022 a wild year for Rockstar Games. It confirmed a dual protagonist structure for Grand Theft Auto 6, and it featured significant gameplay video from the game still in development. The entire event featured a hacker who demanded to talk with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive after gaining access to the GTA games’ source code, ostensibly to strike a contract. Despite the fact that many games are leaked before their scheduled announcements, most do not experience this kind of breach.

Rockstar Games has recently posted a strange video on their Twitter account that has a jumble of colours and unnerving background noises. The Rockstar Games logo flashes in the same colour scheme at the start and the conclusion, although it doesn’t indicate anything specific. Although the video is only 15 seconds long, some people think that Rockstar is previewing GTA 6 in it. Some users believe that the video may be related to the game’s main theme because a leak suggested that GTA 6 would place a significant emphasis on drug cartels.

Others, on the other hand, think that Rockstar Games is merely advertising the most recent Grand Theft Auto Online update, called Los Santos Drug Wars. The Grand Theft Auto Online update that went live on December 13 is claimed to introduce a “psychoactive strain of pandemonium.” It’s not clear whether the weird video is related to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 or if Rockstar Games is simply marketing the Los Santos Drug Wars update. The description somewhat closely matches the clip.

Although GTA 6 doesn’t have an official release date, a rumour said that it might be available in 2025. A large 12-year gap between two mainline Grand Theft Auto games would result if the rumoured release date is accurate. GTA 5 was released about five years after GTA 4, but the time between releases was considerably smaller in earlier games.
